I walked by you today, you never even said hey, the look on your face..disgust, distaste
How did we get here, where'd we go wrong, I'm forgetting your smile, its been too long
Just a quick glimpse, no time for conversation, What we used to be now needs resuscitation
You're a snake in the grass, on a totally different path, Those once strong hands need to get a firmer grasp
On the truth that was reality, now hidden, so lost. Hows empty workin out for ya, seems a heavy cost
Maybe tomorrow will be different, maybe something to draw nearer, But today, all I can I say is, I hate you mirror.
