I wrote this back when I was 16 years old, in high school. I was dealing with the cold, hard fact that I wasn't a very good "voice" for what I believe in....

THE WITNESS ??

I see you pain

I know your name

I know the Way

Can't find what to say

Could it be I'm afraid

To tell you He laid

His life down, for you and for me

Broken and bare, nailed to a tree

Cried the tears, felt our shame

And I'm too scared to tell you His name.

Jesus!! I cry for His help,

But no one can see what my mind just felt...

You walk away, I think it's too late

I blew my chance to see you at the gate

My mind slips away like hour glass sands

What can I do, your blood is on my hands.

Lord, help me.
